Re-FuzeHD:
HDTV
archiving toolset
Re-FuzeHD
is a set of GUI based tools intended to reduce the need for commandline activities in Linux
while archiving High Definition video. For years, the Linux user has had
to make due with console commands such as:
[doug@SS21T-2 ~]$ cat /dev/video0 > BattleStarGalactica_4_03-720p.ts
[doug@SS21T-2 ~]$ mencoder -oac lavc -ovc lavc -of mpeg -mpegopts format=dvd \
-vf scale=720:480,harddup,softskip \ -srate 48000 -af lavcresample=48000
\
-lavcopts
vcodec=mpeg2video:vrc_buf_size=1835:vrc_maxrate=9000:vbitrate=8000:\
keyint=18:aspect=16/9:acodec=ac3:abitrate=192
-ofps 30000/1001 \
-o
BattleStarGalactica_4_03--480p.mpg BattleStarGalactica_4_03-720p.ts |
Re-FuzeHD will streamline the
entire Capture, Edit, Transcode and Archive process, making it
possible for a user with very little experience with Linux to save
videos to optical media and playback HDTV programs.
